These cheat codes allow you to add a specified career, make your Sim quit their job, or give your Sim an instant promotion in their career. If you wish to demote your Sim from their current position, simply replace the world ‘promote’ with ‘demote.’ It’s the same concept as promotion, you’ll have to keep entering your cheat if you want to go down multiple levels.Type the following cheats into cheat console to influence your Sim's working career. At some point, you may need to stop and choose a specific branch within the career, so keep an eye out for a specific notification. So if you want to climb the ladder all the way, keep pasting the code into the command box. Once you are hired in the career path you want (by choosing an entry level position on the phone or computer), you’re all set to use the cheat. This unlocks every single career award, regardless of your chosen path. I’d go ahead and add bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement to unlock locked Career Objects in Build Mode while you’re at it. (control+shift+c again to close the text window after you enter the code). In the text field, type testingcheats true and you’re all set to enter whatever cheat you need.
To do so, press control+shift+c (command on a mac). To use pretty much any cheat in The Sims 4, make sure testing cheats is enabled. Some of us don’t have time for all that and there’s some cheats to make careers a lot easier in The Sims 4. You’ll also spend most of your time trying to max out your skills the old-fashioned way and complete at-home assignments.
You may not be able to attend that crazy party at Planet Honey Pop in San Myshuno at 2 a.m. Committing to a job for five days a week could get in the way of exploring the neighborhood. Careers are a large part of The Sims 4, but it takes patience to reach the top.
